Prime Care Coordination Leadership Transition and Appointment of New Executive Director

Executive Director Kate Wagner, RN, MHA will be stepping down from her role after serving since March 2020.

“It has been an incredible privilege to serve alongside the dedicated team at Prime Care Coordination,” said Wagner. “I am deeply proud of the work we have accomplished together and the positive impact we continue to make in the lives of those we support.”

Wagner will remain actively involved with the organization as a member of the Prime Care Board of Directors, providing continued support and leadership.

Following a comprehensive and deliberate search process, the Prime Care Board of Directors has appointed Alise Gintner, LCSW as the organization’s next Executive Director. The process included broad candidate outreach, multiple rounds of evaluation, and engagement with key stakeholders to ensure a strong fit for the organization’s mission and future direction.

Gintner brings extensive healthcare leadership experience, including oversight of large multidisciplinary teams and complex care coordination programs across hospital, outpatient, and community-based settings. She has a strong track record in quality improvement, workforce development, and operational leadership within Medicaid-funded environments.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Kate for her exceptional leadership and dedication to Prime Care over the past several years,” said Andrew Sewnauth, Board Chair. “Kate has helped guide the organization through a period of growth and strengthened our foundation for the future. We are excited to welcome Alise, whose experience, strategic vision, and commitment to person-centered care make her the right leader to build on this momentum and lead Prime Care forward.”

To ensure continuity and operational stability, Terria Thompson will remain in her role as Vice President, continuing to oversee day-to-day operations and support staff and stakeholders.

Prime Care Coordination remains committed to its mission of delivering high-quality, person-centered care coordination that supports the health, independence, and well-being of the individuals and families it serves.
